Melissa Bel kick starts 2013 with a new single and Montreal show!

Melissa Bel

Canadian singer-songwriter Melissa Bel has an exciting year ahead of her. With her first show of the year scheduled on March 2 at Montreal’s Petit Campus, yesterday’s highly anticipated release of her single, “All the Wrong Things”, and an upcoming album on the way, fans can expect to see and hear more of the soulful songstress.

This time around, Melissa seems to have taken a refreshing shift away from the heartbreak songs which she admitted to have the tendency to write. Unlike “Distance”, “All the Wrong Things” will have you groovin’ to Motown-inspired melodies and crooning along to upbeat lyrics. It is a fun song acknowledging a lover’s imperfections that only he or she can mess up so perfectly.

Only 23 years old, Melissa has already gained international praise for her incredible talent. If you’re in Montreal on March 2, stop by Petit Campus to witness Melissa’s soulful voice for yourself: http://www.admission.com/artist/melissa-bel-billets/912511. Celebrated fingerstyle guitarists, Stephane Tellier and Dan Livingstone, will also share the stage with her.

“All the Wrong Things” is now available for download on iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/ca/album/all-the-wrong-things-single/id608631709
